Mad That's awful! I can't believe they gave it back to you with it not matching like that (as if you wouldn't notice). Rolling Eyes It's bad enough to be Cruiserless once, now you've got to go through it again. I hope they do a much better job next week!

I wonder if there's more than one shade of inca gold. You wouldn't think so. We found out that there are two different shades of patriot blue. We had to make sure we picked the right one when we were getting our hood painted.

They probably just went with the paint spec rather than custom matching to the car. Paint fades and I wouldn't be suprised if that is what is making the difference here. The fading isn't normally even apparent until a panel is repainted.

Hopefully they have a good painter that can custom mix on his own to match it up.

I found out that there are 3 shades of Inca Gold used on the 2002 PT
2 on the 2003 Jeep, and yet one more on the 2002 Prowler

Its a bear to match the colour

Wow I didn't know that! Shocked I'll keep that in mind if I'm ever in a situation where I need to have Vinnie repainted or something.

Holy Crap !!

that is totally Different the same thing happened to my PT. I found out that Chrysler used 3 different tints to Inca Gold in 2002. The paint codes did not reflect this.

One was used on the 2002 PT
but also used on the 2002 PT was the Inca Gold from the 2002 Prowler
if that wasn't enough they also used on the 2002 PT was the Inca Gold from the 2003 Jeep
