How To Use Your Client Side Control Panel ( cpanel )

All hosting packages provided by 27Levels web solutions come standard
with a client side control panel ( cpanel ) to help you maintain your web page.

To access your cpanel, open your web browser and type in your web
page address with the directory "cpanel" as shown in this example:

http://www.yourwebpage.com/cpanel

You will be asked for the user name and password that was provided to
you by 27Levels. If you have lost your password, contact us for a new one.
Once you log into the cpanel, you will see a web page that look like this:

27Levels advises you not to change or edit settings that you don't understand.
Contact us first if you are unsure.

At the left of the cpanel page, you will see the General Account Information summary.
Here you can quickly view how many email accounts you have used, how much disk space
you have used, and how much bandwidth your web page has used so far this month.
If you are about to go over your allowed amount of any of those areas, contact us.

By clicking your Mail icon, you can easily maintain your email accounts.
From the "Manage/Add/Remove Accounts", you can set up full email addresses.
The Outlook set up script will help you to configure your computer to read and send
emails with your new email address accounts and Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express.
If you already have an email account, you can have your new email address forward
to it. Click "Forwarders" from the menu and fill in the information.
Note, you can not send emails from a forward email address.

By clicking you Web Stats icon, you can quickly view important statistics about
your web page. "Analog" gives you detailed summaries and pie charts for everything
from web page hits and bandwith usage, all the way down to what type of computers
your guest used. The "Webalizer" gives you a quick glance at your hit counts. You can
see how many hits your web page got for each day as well as weekly and monthly.

From the File Manager icon, you can edit/rename/delete files from your account.
This should only be used by advanced users.

Feel free to contact 27Levels with any questions about your cpanel.
